Process for direct recruitment of lab assistants for RMSA schools begins

Hall tickets can be downloaded from the website a week before the exam

The School Education Department has started receiving applications online for direct recruitment of laboratory assistants under Rashtriya Madhyamik Siksha Abhiyan.

The department had announced earlier that the applications could be downloaded from www.tndge.in from April 24 to May 5 at 12 Government Examinations Service Centres (GESCs).

Candidates produced original and photo copies of their SSLC mark sheet, community certificate, employment registration card, priority certificate, higher education certificates, and service proof, while submitting their filled-in applications at the GESCs.

A sum of Rs. 100 was collected in cash from each candidate towards examination fee and Rs. 50 more as service charges. SC/ST candidates, destitute widows, and differently abled persons were exempted from paying examination fee.

The 12 GESCs in Erode district constitute: Government Girls' Higher Secondary School (women), Sengunthar Higher Secondary School (men), Government Boys' Higher Secondary School, Perundurai (men and women), Government Boys’ Higher Secondary School, Modakurichi (men and women), Government Girls’ Higher Secondary School, Bhavani (women), Government Boys’ Higher Secondary School, Bhavani (men), Mangalam Higher Secondary School, Anthiyur (men and women), Municipal Girls’ Higher Secondary School, Gobichettipalayam (men and women), Venkateshwara Higher Secondary School, Dhasampalayam (men), Raghavendra Higher Secondary School, Sathyamangalam (men), Government Girls’ Higher Secondary School, Sathyamangalam (women), and Government Higher Secondary School, Thalavadi (men).

Hall tickets could be downloaded from the website a week before the examination scheduled on May 31, Chief Educational Officer P. Ayyannan said.

Questions for the examination will be drawn from SSLC syllabi.

The examination for two-and-a-half hour duration will encompass 120 objective type questions from science subjects and 30 from general knowledge, the CEO said.
