An under-trial prisoner who attempted to commit suicide by falling from the court building, got his leg fractured.
According to police, T. Dhanabal (37), who was arrested by the Nagudi police for having murdered his wife in 2013, was brought for a hearing at the Fast Track Court located on the first floor of the complex. All of a sudden, he jumped from the court building only to get his right leg fractured. He has been admitted to the Dr. Muthulakshmi Reddy Memorial Government Headquarters Hospital. The Ganesh Nagar police have registered a case and are investigating.
