Police stations, quarters declared open

Chief Minister Jayalalithaa inaugurated through video-conferencing two police quarters, four police stations and one police barracks (men) in the two districts on Sunday.

Sivaganga Superintendent of Police M. Durai was present at Poovanthi, when she inaugurated the police quarters. She also inaugurated a police station at Kandavarayanpatti in Tirupttur police sub-division.

In Ramanathapuram, Additional Superintendent of Police R. Vellaidurai was present when Ms. Jayalalithaa inaugurated police stations at Sayalkudi, Keezhaselvanoor and Mandapam.

The Chief Minister also inaugurated a police quarters at Keezhathooval and the police barracks (men) at Kamudhi.
