The Pattali Makkal Katchi (PMK) will take a decision on alliance in a week, its founder S. Ramadoss said here on Tuesday.

Addressing party functionaries at Bhavani, Dr. Ramadoss said the party had decided not to go it alone. “We will face the elections with an alliance.”

He said the party would seek Bhavani seat as it was strong there.

The party had worked out an elaborate poll strategy and youngsters would be given more importance, he said and asked senior members to give more posts to the youth at all levels.

Calls on Minister

Dr. Ramadoss called on Agriculture Minister Veerapandi S. Arumugam, who was admitted to a hospital in Salem following a severe attack of bronchitis and sore throat.
