PMK blames it on lack of facilities

November 19, 2014 08:26 am | Updated May 23, 2016 04:09 pm IST - CHENNAI:

PMK founder S. Ramadoss has said the lack of adequate facilities at the Dharmapuri Medical College Hospital was the reason for the death of 11 newborn babies.

Though 100 children from Dharmapuri, Krishnagiri and Tiruvannamalai were brought to the hospital every day, the infrastructure was insufficient, he said in a statement here. “Furthermore, it does not have adequate nurses and other trained medical staff to change oxygen cylinders, forcing the parents to do the job,” he said.
