The Lok Janshakti Party president Ram Vilas Paswan on Sunday reiterated his party's support to any candidate chosen by the Congress-led United Progressive Alliance for the post of President of India.

Talking to reporters here after addressing office bearers of the Tamil Nadu Lokshakti Party and Dalit Sena, Mr. Paswan said his party had left to Congress president Sonia Gandhi to decide the candidate for the post.

“We will support the UPA's candidate. I have spoken to Soniaji and I cannot think about any other person than what congress recommends. I have no doubt that this candidate will emerge successful as UPA has enough majority,” he said.
