Pasupathi Pandian murder case hearing adjourned till April 13

Amid tight security, Rajesh, one of the 16 accused in the Pasupathi Pandian murder case, was produced before Principal District and Sessions Court here on Thursday. Subhash Pannaiyar of Moolakarai in Thoothukudi district, the prime accused in the case, and other accused did not appear. On hearing the case, Principal District Judge R. Poornima adjourned the case till April 13 for further hearing. Rajesh was brought from Madurai Central Prison. Later, he was taken back to Madurai prison. Police had arrested 18 accused in this connection. Pura Pandi, one of the accused in the murder case, was murdered two years ago. Another accused, Muthupandi, was also murdered by a gang near Kallazhagar Temple in Alagarkoil last year.
