Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi has said that his sons, M.K. Alagiri and M.K. Stalin, were not unaware of the fact that he would be the most affected if there were skirmishes between the two siblings.
In an interview to Nakkheeran, a Tamil magazine, he denied there was any problem between the brothers. On Mr. Alagiri's remark that he will not accept anyone as leader after Mr. Karunanidhi, the Chief Minister said that in the DMK, one person could not decide and declare who would be the leader.
Even he did not have the power to decide on these issues; it was for the party to decide, he said.
