Over 30,000 to take Plus Two exams

A total of 30,392 students, including 16,887 girls belonging to schools in Thanjavur district, are appearing for the Plus Two exams between March 5 and 30.

In Thanjavur Educational District, 8,835 students are taking the exams, while from Kumbakonam Educational District 11,143 students and from Pattukkottai Educational District another 10,414 students make up the total.

In all, from the 194 higher secondary schools in Thanjavur district 13,505 boys and 16,887 girls would be appearing for the Plus Two exams this year.

There would be 84 examination centres across the district, according to an official release here by District Collector N. Subbaiyan.
