NIB officials held for filing fake cases

The CB-CID police on Friday arrested two officials attached to Narcotics Intelligence Bureau, Tuticorin, on the charge of filing fake cases against three persons belonging to Kerala.

The arrests were made when the cases lodged against the three persons were proved false. A team led by Parameswaran, DSP, CB-CID, Tiruchi, arrested them. A search is on to nab two more officials, who are allegedly involved. — Staff Reporter
