Rajeev Ranjan, Principal Secretary of the Commercial Taxes and Registration department, is the new Principal Secretary of the Industries department.
He succeeds M.F. Farooqui who has been deputed to the Union government.
T. Jacob, now Commercial Taxes Commissioner, takes the place of Mr. Ranjan as the Principal Secretary of the Commercial Taxes and Registration department. V.K. Jeyakodi, Commissioner of Technical Education, has been made Principal Secretary/Commissioner of Commercial Taxes.
