The Bharatiya Janata Party would emerge as the single largest party in the Lok Sabha elections with the support of its allies, said its State president and the candidate for the Kanyakumari Lok Sabha Constituency, Pon.Radhakrishnan.

Speaking to presspersons at Thovalai on Sunday, he said this was the first time that the BJP had forged an alliance with the Desiya Murpokku Dravida Kazhagam, Marumalarchi Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam, Pattali Makkal Katchi, Kongunadu Makkal Desiya Katchi and Indiya Jananayaka Katchi with an intention to form a formidable third front in the State.

The third front would be an alternative to the All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam and the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam in the State, and the National Democratic Alliance would win more than 25 seats in the Lok Sabha elections in Tamil Nadu, Mr. Radhakrishnan said.

He said the people were fed up with the anti-people policies adopted by the Dravidian parties and hence they would opt for an alternative front.
