NCC cadets take out cancer awareness rally

Members of National Cadet Corps (NCC) took out a cancer awareness rally here on Wednesday.

A total of 650 cadets, who attended a 10-day combined annual training camp conducted here by 10th Battalion of the NCC from May 21 for selection to Thal Sainik Camp and Pre-Republic Day competitions, participated in the rally. Camp officer Lieutenant Colonel R. Sureshkumar led the rally which went through several streets and roads of Sainthapuram.

D. Maninathan, secretary of DKM Women’s College, flagged off the rally. Deputy Camp Officer Captain D. Manivanna Pandiyan and Public Relations Officer of the battalion K. Raja participated in the rally.
