We have to wait and , what she will do for the people.Because we cannot forgot her previous period.
This election is a litmus-proof for clean governance. Let us hope Madam Chief Minister will lead Tamil Nadu to be the No.1 State in the country by NOT doing the acts of the previous government.
Mikka Magzhchi. Now let us see what people of Tamil Nadu going to get. Expecting an clean and fair rule.
Many armchair pundits have satisfied their burnt egos by describing the TN Election Results as a Negative Vote against Mr Karunanidhi. Naturally, an election after 5 years is a referendum on the performance - whether they have fulfilled their promises, whether the common man has benefitted, whether there is appropriate law & order etc., As the leader in 'The Hindu' mentioned, a few achievements in the Social Sector is not the effective counterweight for the glaring blunders and deliberate corruption on a scale unheard of in Modern Independent India. Many 'experts' from the AC Rooms have passed on their doubts about Jayalalitha's 'corruption'. Well, she has come out of 10 of the 12 cases filed against her of the 1991-96 rule. I want all these experts to cite just ONE SINGLE instance of one corruption scandal during the 2001-06 period; the administration was smooth, power/water were managed with utmost efficiency, the speed with which the relief works during tsunami, floods etc., was exemplary. I am not an apologist of the ADMK or Ms Jayalalitha BUT if you have a corruption scandal of Rs. 176,000 Crores - not my number, it is the CAG's - your favoutite minister in CBI custody & your daughter is the co-accused in just one scandal, you can't blame the public if they don't vote for you and your so called social schemes. Why should the secretariat building cost Rs. 1000 crores? Even at an astronomical cost of Rs. 2000 per sq.foot, this must fetch a building measuring 5 MILLION SQUARE FEET? Does the Secretariat measure 5 MILLION Sq.Feet? PLUS J's proven administrative record gave the TN Voters a ready made alternative as she has also built an unbeatable alliance polling 53% votes OR 41 Million votes more than the opposition. This is a very strong positive wave aided by an appropriate negativee rejecting Corruption, nepotism, raw goondaism of the southern districts, open murders etc.,
Let Peace and Happiness prevail among the People of Tamilnadu. The Election Commission of India has proved to the World as to What is meant by Democracy. Rest of the World need to learn it from Election Commission of India.
Let us wait and see, what she will do for the people. I think AMMA will concentrate on M Karuna family only.
It is a good start; the reason is 1. Money power can't buy votes, 2. Bigger parties is not having its own vote bank, now people think based on the issue had increased. 3. Media penetration had increased and people had started thinking. This is a good sign; These things are common and will happen tomorrow for any party which is in power when they are not taking care of the people. As far as DMDK; it is a great opportunity. They can act as a perfect opponent part and raise voice against things which is not good for people and support which are good. This way they can raise as a third party or as a alternate party for DMK or ADMK. If they miss this opportunity they will not get it again. For DMK it is a perfect time to look for fresh faces who is will to work for the people. I hope the new Government will meet the expectation of the people.
I dont know whether DMk is more corrupt or AIDMK is more corrupt. But a change is always needed. I hope in the future there are more candidates from the young generation and who are well informed to lead the development of the state. >Whoever wins they forget the differences and make our state a great one where the people are happy.
The good performance of Ministers like Thangam Thennarasu,Periya Karuppan,Karunanidhi and Stalin are vouched by their victories.People have demonstrated that they scrunize every action of the rulers and it is hoped that Jayalalitha learns by her past actions and try to reap the name of MGR by doing good deeds.
A massive swing away from the DMK would be a better way to describe the election results. Since AIADMK has not been in power for many years and couldn't project any recent achievements, it was clearly a negative vote that did the DMK in.
It is a categorically clear verdict against corruption, failure of law and order, price rise, occupying entire money yielding sectors like film industry, real estate, communication channels.
Gone are those days when people can be cowed down due to illiteracy, lack of information through multimedia, telecommunication and what not. Today, from every nook and corner of the villages the younger generation are taking up higher education especially in information technology. People, men and women have developed analytical mindset, and today they can judge very well. I congratulate AIADMK Chief for strategic planning to stage a comeback to address the woes of people in a fair and just manner. The might of the people minds over the might of muscles has proven once again, and let us all look forward positive historical developments in the state.
