Male—Chennai flight from November 15

It will be extended up to Dhaka

Maldivian, the national carrier of Maldives, will introduce a flight between Male and Chennai on November 15, the country’s, Deputy Minister, Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture, Republic of Maldives, Mohamed Maleeh Jamal, said here on Thursday.

The flight will be operated on Tuesdays, Thursday and Saturdays. Talking about the sector, the Minister said the Male-Chennai flight will be extended to Dhaka, and in the return direction, it will come to Chennai and leave for Male.

Abdul Haris, Managing Director, Maldivian, said the Male – Chennai – Dhaka sector will be provided with an Airbus A-320 aircraft.

“Ours is the first airline to connect Dhaka to Chennai,” he said.
