‘Madras Week' programmes today

The following programmes are being organised on Monday as part of the ‘Madras Week'.

The Coromandel Trading Post, an exhibition is being inaugurated at Asan Memorial Senior Secondary School, Egmore, at 10.a.m.

An expo on Max Mueller Bhavan, Madras' activities 1960-2010, is organised on their premises at 10 a.m. A painting exhibition on ‘Nature in and around Chennai' by Chennai Trekking Club will be held at Zha Café, 2nd Street, Kamarajar Avenue, Adyar, at 10 a.m. A talk ‘Your Ellu Thatha's Madras' by Pradeep Chakravarthy is being organised at Hermann Gmeiner School auditorium, SOS Children's village, Tambaram (East) at 2.30 p.m. Historian George Jayaraj talks on ‘Indo-Saracenic Architecture of Madras', at MEASI Academy of Architecture, 87, Peters Road, Royapettah, 3 p.m. Chennai Heritage Lecture on ‘Chandrababu and Madras Bashai in Tamil films' by Mohan Raman will be held at The Park at 6.30 p.m.
