Land grabbing wing for Dindigul, Theni

Land grabbing prevention wing has been constituted in Dindigul and Theni districts by the respective district police administration on Tuesday.

An inspector in the Crime Records Bureau, a sub-inspector and six constables had been deputed to man them. They will function under the supervision of Superintendents of Police. The team would exclusively investigate complaints on land encroachments, land grabbing and cheating in connection with land sale and purchase.

People in Dindigul district may contact the wing at any time on telephone number 0451 2461400 to lodge complaints or pass information.

In Theni, petitioners or complainants may contact Inspector Rajkumar on his mobile number 94454 55415 and Sub-Inspector Arjunan on 95788 41051 and office number 04546 253101, according to press releases from the respective district police offices.
