Krishna Darshan expo in Salem

Idols of Lord Krishna in different sizes and postures, worth more than Rs. 10 lakh, are on sale at the Krishna Darshan exhibition organised by the Tamil Nadu Handicrafts Development Corporation at its Poompuhar showroom in the city.

The idols are available in panchaloha, black metal, brass, while metal, white wood and even clay. The kolu collection of nine avatars of Lord Krishna is also on sale.

The price ranges from Rs. 150 (crawling Krishna) to Rs. 7,000 (Radhe Krishna).

The Poompuhar has targeted to achieve sale proceeds of Rs. 2 lakh through this exhibition, which will be on till August 26.
