A 41-year-old man from Thrissur was killed and his wife and daughter were injured in a car crash here near Karimangalam on Sunday night.
The deceased Satish, employed in a private company in Mumbai, was returning after visiting a relative in Bengaluru during the week-end, along with his wife Prasanna (35) and daughter Ashwathi (13), when the accident happened.
According to the police, the car lost control and rammed into a lorry. Satish was killed on the spot, while Prasanna and Ashwathi were rushed to Dharmapuri government hospital with grievous injuries.
