DMK president Karunanidhi visits the office of party organ “Murasoli” on October 19, 2017.

DMK patriarch M. Karunanidhi, who has been confined to his residence since October 2016, paid a visit to the Murasoli office to have a look at the exhibition organised in connection with the platinum jubilee of the party organ.

He was accompanied by party's working president M.K. Stalin and principal secretary Duraimurugan. "He smiled and waved at the crowd assembled in front of his house and Murasoli office," Mr Duraimurugan told The Hindu .

Mr. Stalin decided to take Mr. Karunanidhi to Murasoli office as they had closed the exhibition and it would soon be dismantled.

"Mr. Stalin and I explained everything and he enjoyed every moment. He was moved by the logo on display and the statue of Murasoli Maran. He observed very closely the wax model that was part of the exhibition. He smiled when I told him that he looks like an actor doing double role,” said Mr. Duraimurugan.
