Karunanidhi to visit Tiruvarur

The Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi is visiting Tiruvarur on September 30 to participate in the inauguration of the Central University of Tamil Nadu.

According to official sources, the Chief Minister is expected to arrive by Rockfort express to Thanjavur on September 30 morning. He will proceed to Tiruvarur by road. He participates in the Central University inauguration, unveiling of a Periyar statue and a public meeting at Tiruvarur. He stays at Tiruvarur for the night and goes to Thirukuvalai, his native place, on October 1. In the evening, he leaves to Chennai by Rockfort express from Thanjavur, according to official sources.
