Karunanidhi fiat on road overbridges

The road overbridge (ROB) being constructed in Tambaram Sanatorium should be completed by March, Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi advised the Highways Department on Monday. Two such bridges in Pattabiram and Tirunindravur should be ready by April.

Mr. Karunanidhi gave these instructions while reviewing the progress of functioning of the department.

Status of work

He ascertained from Highways Minister M.P. Saminathan and officials the status of work on 10 such bridges in the Chennai Metropolitan Area and a flyover in Porur. Deputy Chief Minister M.K. Stalin was present.
