Karunanidhi expresses shock

Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam president M. Karunanidhi on Thursday expressed shock over the murder of K.N. Ramajeyam, younger brother of party's Tiruchi district secretary, K.N. Nehru, and called upon his party cadre to maintain restraint.

In a condolence message, Mr. Karunanidhi said he did not know how to console himself and the former DMK Minister.

“I appeal to the party workers to remain calm,” he said and conveyed his condolences to Mr. Nehru's family and party cadre.

DMK Treasurer M.K.Stalin paid his last respects to Ramajeyam. Mr.Stalin arrived in Tiruchi in the evening to pay homage to Ramajeyam.
