After undertaking a hectic campaign across Tamil Nadu for the 16th Lok Sabha polls, Chief Minister Jayalalithaa would leave for Kodanad in the Nilgiris on Monday.

The Chief Minister would stay in the hill station for a few weeks and discharge her official duties from there, a press release in Chennai said.

For the April 24 Lok Sabha polls, Ms. Jayalalithaa undertook a massive poll campaign seeking votes for her candidates across the 40 constituencies, including for the lone seat in the Union Territory of Puducherry.
