Jayalalithaa leaves for Kodanad

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J. Jayalalithaa on Sunday left for Kodanad in the Nilgris, from where she would perform her official duties.

Her flight left at 12.10 pm for Coimbatore, from where she would leave for Kodanad by a chopper, airport sources said.

The Chief Minister would stay in the hill station for few weeks, according to an official press release.

For the April 24 Lok Sabha polls, Ms. Jayalalithaa undertook a massive poll campaign seeking votes for her candidates across the 40 constituencies including for the lone seat in Puducherry.
