People will debar AIADMK general secretary Jayalalithaa for next five years on the charge of copying DMK election manifesto, said Paattali Makkal Katchi founder S. Ramadoss.
He was presiding over the party workers' meeting held here on Friday. If students copied in public exams, officials will debar them.
Now, Ms. Jayalalithaa has copied DMK's manifesto. So people will debar and defeat her in this election.
Criticising AIADMK manifesto, Dr. Ramadoss said that distribution of cattle and goats to all the 30 lakh people living below poverty line was impossible because, the State doesn't have such a large number of cattle.
Majority of cattle have been sent to Kerala for slaughter, he said. Ms. Jayalalitha asked you to rear goats and cattle. But Mr. Karunanidhi offered laptop to your children to equip themselves to work in big companies.
Introducing the party's candidate for Dindigul constituency, he said J. Paul Baskar will not function independently within the constituency, decide development works and allot funds on his own. A nine- member committee comprising members of allies will guide and monitor him.
Revenue Minister I. Periasamy said that victory of DMK and its allies was important for continuance of all welfare schemes.
Vedasandur candidate M. Thandapani said that power was essential to implement welfare schemes. Rural people may get even washing machines after elections.
The DMK should rule the State to implement even rural employment guarantee scheme (a central government scheme), he added.
