Jayalalithaa condoles Nammazhvar’s death

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalithaa on Tuesday condoled the death of renowned organic farming scientist, G Nammazhvar, saying his demise was an “irreparable loss.”

Expressing grief over the death of the 75 year-old scientist, she said he had dedicated his life towards promoting natural farming “and was determined in not consuming allopathic medicines.”

His death was an “irreparable loss” and “none can fill” his place she said in a statement, extending her sympathies to his family and associates and wished his soul rested in peace.

Nammazhvar passed away near Pattukottai on Monday following a cardiac arrest.
