Chief Minister Jayalalithaa called on Governor K. Rosaiah at the Raj Bhavan on Friday. An official release said it was a courtesy call to brief the Governor of the law and order situation and the implementation of various schemes.

She was accompanied by Chief Secretary Mohan Vergheese Chungath and Adviser to the Government Sheela Balakrishnan.
