when an indivual can own ten engineering colleges. Why not government can buy a non-performing colleges and make them available to poor and meritorious students?
Country needs and requires more and more quality education institution maintained and owned by government reduces the all kinds of burden to poor and meritorious students who could not able to pay the extra fees collected by the private management institutions across the country. She should focus on market demand and research oriented institute instead opening one more engineering college or part of one more government college. Those who pass out from that institute should have more acceptability in the job market as well develops the attitude of entrepreneurship in order to create some job opportunities. Recently I read one story says that in USA universities started a program of private firm employees teaches the universities student in order to bridge the gap between reality and class room learning. Why can’t we have such experiments in newly opening institutions across the nation which ensures produces fine quality of students that helps in building intellectual capital.
1000s of engineering seats were not get filled each year, the new college is not a need at the moment.. if the funds are utilized for the purchases of equipments and modernization of all the engineering colleges then it will be appreciated. the govt. should look to enhance the standard and skills in graduates without looking for the passing rates..
