International film festival

A five-day international film festival, planned by Tamil Nadu Progressive Writers and Artistes Association (TNPWAA), will be held here from November 18 to 22.“This is for the first time an international film festival of any kind going to be held in Tirupur”, R. Eswaran, state executive committee member of TNPWAA, told reporters. He said that 25 movies, including old classics and contemporary films, from 10 countries would be screened at Diamond cinema, the venue. Each day, five shows would be there.
