The Arcot Sri Mahalakshmi Women’s Institute of Management, Arcot and Arcot Sri Mahalakshmi Women’s College, Vilapakkam have bagged four gold medals of the Thiruvalluvar University, Vellore and 27 university ranks in various courses in the examinations conducted by the University in 2014.
According to a release, of the two institutions, their students obtained the gold medals in MBA, M.Sc. (IT), B.Sc.(Physics) and B.Sc. (Computer Science), while the other ranks were as follows: B.Sc. (Physics)—6; BBA—1; BCA—1; B.Com. (CA)--1; B.Sc. (Computer Science)—2; B.Sc. (Maths)—2; MBA—8; M.Sc. (IT)—4; M.Sc. (Maths)—1; M.Com—1. K.R. Baskar, College Chairman, Sumalatha Baskar, Vice-Chairman, K.B. Kishun Kumar, Secretary and D. Siva, Principal congratulated the students and faculties.
