Ilayaraja plea: interim ban extended

HC had granted injunction till October 16 on an application in a suit by Mr. Ilayaraja against B.Narasimhan of Agi Music Pvt. Ltd and four others.

The Madras High Court on Thursday extended till October 20 an interim injunction restraining some music companies from infringing music director Ilayaraja’s copyright to deal with sound recording composed by him.

Originally, the court had granted the injunction till October 16 on an application in a civil suit by Mr. Ilayaraja against B.Narasimhan of Agi Music Pvt. Ltd and four others.

When the matter came up, Justice R. Subbiah extended the interim injunction till Monday.
