The members of the ruling party in the State were indulging in all sorts of corrupt activities, and the Income Tax department should conduct surprise searches at the residences and offices of all the Ministers in the State, Pattali Makkal Katchi (PMK) leader Anbumani Ramadoss said here on Saturday.

Referring to the I-T search conducted at former Chief Minister Jayalalithaa’s house, Dr. Anbumani told reporters that at present, the I-T department was targeting only one family.

He alleged that both Chief Minister Edappadi K. Palaniswami and Deputy Chief Minister O. Panneerselvam had helped jailed AIADMK leader Sasikala and her family members amass wealth through illegal means.

Stating that he had already presented a report to the Governor on the “large-scale corruption prevailing in the State”, the PMK leader added that one more petition detailing the corrupt practices would be presented to the Governor soon.
