Hunt on for Tollywood actress

Police have formed special teams to arrest a budding film actress, Neethu Agarwal, who is alleged to have been hand in glove with red sanders smugglers.

On finding that money had been transferred from her bank account to red sanders smugglers, police registered a case against her at the Rudravaram police station in Kurnool district and froze her account.

According to reports, Neethu Agarwal fell into a trap laid by smugglers, led by Mastan Vali, the mandal president of Chagalamarri in Kurnool district. Vali, who transported lemon to delivery points from the business place of his uncle, befriending red sanders smugglers and became a kingpin. He amassed wealth over a period of time.

He produced a Telugu movie, Prema Prayanam , two years ago with Neethu as the heroine. Police suspect the actress might have been operating several accounts to carry out the transactions. Mastan Vali was arrested a fortnight ago.
