A private hospital owned by a physician named A. Anbumani, a close friend of Pattali Makkal Katchi leader Anbumani Ramadoss, was attacked by unidentified persons at A. Pallippatti near Harur at midnight Friday.
Police said Dr. Anbumani Ramadoss had lunch at the residence of Dr. A. Anbumani in the afternoon at his invitation, taking a break from the campaign.
Some persons assembled before the hospital around midnight and smashed the window panes.
No one was injured in the attack.
Case filedOn the basis of a complaint from the hospital, the Harur police registered a case, police sources said.
No one was arrested till Saturday evening, police sources said.
