Justice M.S. Ramesh, who heard the petition, granted the interim stay. He also ordered notices to the Inspector of Dharmapuri Town Police Station as well as the tahsildar P. Gunasekaran, who had lodged the complaint. , on the petitioner’s main plea to call for all records related to the case pending before a judicial magistrate court in Dharmapuri and quash them.
Acceding to a request made by the petitioner’s counsel K. Balu, the judge also dispensed with personal appearance of the MP before the lower court until further orders.
