The State government on Wednesday asked the pilgrims to get vaccinated against A (H1N1) two to three weeks before the commencement of their pilgrimage to Sabarimala or to postpone it by two to three weeks, if they developed symptoms such as fever, cough, cold and throat soar. An official release said “if one develops flu like symptoms during their journey, it is advisable to contact a doctor to seek A (H1N1) treatment.

In case one falls with flu like symptoms while travelling through Kerala State, the A (H1N1) medicine is available at all government hospitals health centres and selected private hospitals free of cost.”
