Gang robs from private mill employees near Tirupur

Two employees of a private mill near Kangayam were allegedly robbed by a gang who came in cars on Friday.

The accused reportedly took away a sum of Rs. 22 lakh from the two mill employees, who were on the way to remit the amount in a bank.

Later in the day, the police had picked up two persons for questioning. According to police sources, Rs. two lakh had been recovered from the two persons. The search is on for the remaining persons and the balance cash.
