Free training

A 15-day free training in embroidery, artificial jewel making and toys making will be held for rural women at the Indian Bank Self Employment Training Institute (INDSETI) here from June 1.

A release from Institute Director M. Malarvizhi said that the training would cover embroidery, machine embroidery, dress designing, designing flowers for bride, garland making, soft toys making and jewellery making.

Interested should register with the institute before May 26. Minimum eligibility criteria would be a pass in class 8 and should be in the age group of 18 to 45 years. Preference would be given to women who knew tailoring. Training materials, course fee and food would be provided at free of cost.
