The senior citizens group of Besant Nagar and Mylapore proposes to publish a free directory of senior citizens homes in Chennai.
Owners of senior citizens homes are requested to provide information on their homes such as address, phone number, email id, room tariff and medical facilities available to scgobn@gmail.com or call V. Chandrasekhar at 9884224480.
The information will be validated by a panel of senior citizens who may pay a surprise visit to the homes before publication. Advertisements or monetary donations will not be accepted. Corporate houses and NGOs interested in sponsoring the free directory are requested to contact the group, the release said.
