Four IT professionals killed in accident

Four persons, working in an Information Technology company at Chennai, were killed in a road accident involving near Padalam on Grand Southern Trunk Road on Saturday morning.

Around 8 a.m., a car in which the IT professionals were proceeding towards Chennai from Villupuram rammed a stationary goods carrier near the median from behind.

Car driver Deepan, and Ishwarya and Prasad seated in the front died on the spot. Mega, Akila and Sharath sitting behind them sustained grievous injuries and were rushed to the Chengalpattu Medical College Hospital, where Mega died, the police said.
