Four members of a family were killed in an accident which involved a TNSTC bus and a car at Salavadi near Tindivanam on Saturday.
The deceased were identified as Ganesan (60), his wife Suganthi (55), son Karthik (30) and daughter-in-law Jamuna (25), all hailing from Singanallur in Coimbatore.
Police said the accident occurred when the TNSTC bus going from Chennai to Tiruvannamalai suddenly swerved to the right on the Tindivanam-Chennai National Highway. The car in which the family was travelling lost control and hit the bus.
