Pregnant woman commits suicide
A seven months pregnant woman had allegedly committed suicide by hanging at Pochampalli on Friday. The suicide also claimed the life of the baby.
The victim Devi (30) was married to Saravanan (30), an electrician. The couple has two children. Police said she committed suicide following a quarrel with her husband on Friday. She was taken to the Dharmapuri Government Medical College hospital, where she gave birth to a still born child. The woman succumbed at the hospital on Sunday.
