Five injured over LPG cylinder leak in Tirupur

Five persons sustained burn injuries when a leak from one of the LPG cyclinders kept in a tea stall-cum-bakery accidentally triggered fire in Tirupur on Saturday morning.

The injured were M. Tirupathi, G. Arasu, V. Ajith and R. Somu, all of them working in the outlet, and D. Devraj, an employee of the gas agency, who came to the tea stall to set right the leakage. All the injured were hospitalised. The Tirupur North police are investigating.
