Fisherman I. Xavier (45) of Kovalam in Kanyakumari district had been missing in mid sea near Saudi Arabia since January 26. His body was found in the sea and brought to the General Hospital in Qatif in Saudi Arabia, said P. Justin Antony, founder-president of the International Fishermen Development Trust (INFIDET) here on Saturday.
In an e-mail communiqué he said that his organisation appealed to the State government to bring back the body to his native village.
Xavier is survived by his wife X. Sagaya Weski, 11-year-old daughter and a 6-year-old son.
