Fire at school

A fire broke out in an abandoned room of Adhyaman Government Boys Higher Secondary School here triggering rumours of damage to question papers on Monday. The fire had however broken out in an abandoned section that housed SSLC answer sheets of 2010, 2011, and 2012. Speaking to The Hindu , Gandhi, Inspector B1 station, here said that the smoke was detected by the police picket guarding the strong room housing the Plus Two question papers. The cause of fire was yet to be ascertained considering there was no electrical connection to the room, Mr. Gandhi said. The school is a custodial center for question papers in the area.
