The final poll rolls would be published on Monday, Chief Electoral Officer Praveen Kumar said on Sunday.
The rolls had been prepared on completion of the summary revision with the qualifying date of January 1, 2011. Mr. Kumar told The Hindu that the list would be kept at offices of electoral registration officers, municipalities, Revenue Divisional Officers and Tahsildars, besides polling stations.
“More than 13 lakh people had applied for inclusion of their names in the voters list. About 11 to 12 lakh names are likely to be added. However, the exact number will be known only after the publication of the final list. We are also holding a function across the State on January 25 (National Voters Day), and Electors' Photo Identity Cards will be issued to new voters,” he said.
