The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will soon take a final decision about the alliance in Tamil Nadu for the Lok Sabha polls, party’s Tamil Nadu President, Pon Radhakrishnan said on Saturday.

“Talks are already on with the Pattali Makkal Katchi (PMK) while talks have been concluded with the Marumalarchi Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam MDMK,” he told reporters in Erode.

Referring to DMDK led by actor-politician Mr. Vijayakanth, he said BJP has already held talks with party functionaries about an alliance. “But still no final decision has been taken and the ball is now in the DMDK court,” he said.

He lambasted the fixing of a target of Rs. 26, 000 crore for 2014-15 for sales of Tamil Nadu State Marketing Corporation (TASMAC) in the state and stressed the importance of “total prohibition“.

On the resignation of Delhi Chief Minister, Arvind Kejriwal, the BJP leader said “the drama by AAP and the Congress has ended.”

Reacting to Telangana issue, Mr. Radhakrishnan said the Congress has taken a hasty decision which would divide the people of Andhra Pradesh into two groups and it would be a threat to the nation’s peace.

BJP will emerge victorious in the Lok Sabha elections and form a stable government with good majority, he claimed.
