A flower vendor and and his son were killed when the bike in which they were travelling collided with a TNSTC bus near Chengam on Monday night. His daughter who was riding pillion sustained injuries.
Velu (30) of Manmalai near Chengam and his two children, Srisanth( 8) and Priya (6) were on their way to pick up Velu's wife Maymmal in Pallathur when their vehicle collided with the TNSTC near a the Chunnambu kalavai on Neeppathurai Road. Velu and Srisanth were instantly killed and Priya was rushed to Government Vellore Medical College Hospital. Mel Chengam police are investigating.
