Tamil Nadu is developing fast under the rule of the All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK), and the Dravida Munetra Kazhagam (DMK) cannot return to power because the people have not forgotten the injustice done to them when it was in power, founder-president of All India Samathuva Makkal Katchi (SMK), R. Sarath Kumar said here on Saturday.
Campaigning for P. Saroja, AIADMK candidate for the December 4 by-election to the Yercaud Assembly Constituency, he said the present Government was evolving more plans for the development of the State.
“There is no doubt that Tamil Nadu will top the list of developed States in the country by the end of the 5 year of the AIADMK regime”, he said. The situation now was contrary to the DMK’s rule which was riddled with the 2G scam and when large-scale land grab across the State was reported, he said.
